I can't believe we were swept by the Diamondbacks!Several of the A's are struggling and if it weren't for Frank Thomas home run, it could've conceivably been another shutout.
Zito had another loss, unfortunately. (So much for my mom's short hair theory.)
Why is it when I did catch a glimpse of the game on TV, it was to see Eric Byrnes scoring a run?
The series loss is putting a bit of a damper on my holiday weekend.
(Game experience: A little bit of radio and a smidge of TV)

The A's are still in first place, even after getting swept at home. That should be enough to keep any A's fan afloat during this long weekend.
Pity the poor Cubs fans whose team is out of the race before the Fourth of July. It's time to start football season early on the North Side.
