I listened to the game while running errands during lunch. Great game with Saarloos (the Rodney Dangerfield of the A's pitching staff) going five innings and picking up the victory.
I listened at work (MLB.com), it was great to hear after Wednesday's disaster. Swisher and Chavez are on a roll! -- Dave
For fill-in starters, Saarlos and Halsey have been excellent this week. I hope it continues.
Saarlos got a save Friday of last week in the game against Kansas City, then he got a win yesterday. So he notched a S and a W within a seven-day period. Not bad.
And I can barely contain my excitement over Swish and Chavy!
Why do I keep going to the wrong game?!? The day after I see the A's lost humiliatingly to the Indians, the team turns around and crushes them and their stupid Chief Wahoo mascot :-)
